LLMduckt is TU Graz’s gateway to large language models for teaching and learning. It was developed by the OU Educational Technology at Graz University of Technology (TU Graz)

LLMduckt issues API keys to TU Graz students and teachers so they can use approved models in assignments, projects, and labs. You can select from both on‑premise models hosted at TU Graz for increased data protection and selected cloud‑based models for broader capabilities.

Academic AI is available to all staff members at TU Graz and provides a chat interface and certain modules. LLMduckt, on the other hand, is available to students and teachers of specific TU Graz courses and provides API keys to students. It does not provide a chat interface or pre-defined modules.

LLMduckt is available to students and teachers of TU Graz. You can log in with your TU Graz credentials.

• Select one or more of our currently available LLMs that you would like your students to be able to access via LLMduckt.
• Users and access to the API keys are managed via your TeachCenter course.
• Contact TeachCenter support and let the support team know the course , that you would like to activate LLMduckt in as well as the chosen models.
• Once LLMduckt has been activated, all the students automatically gain access to LLMduckt.
• A new link is added to your TeachCenter course. Students can use this link to retrieve their API key(s) and some sample code directly in the TeachCenter.
• Login credentials and API keys must be treated as confidential and must not be disclosed to third parties or made publicly available.

Your teachers decide to activate LLMduckt for certain courses and also choose the available models for students via LLMduckt.

If your course allows you to use LLMduckt, you will find a link directly in the respective TeachCenter course. Click on that link to retrieve your API key(s) and some sample code.
